CTMH - Somona WOTG

Hey all! So this kit is going to be my absolute favorite! I'm going to create my entire wedding album with this paper packet!

This is the Workshop that I tried to have on the 17th of September, but due to slow shipping and incompatible days of getting together ... LOL ... it is finally happening tomorrow! I got anxious though and put my first two pages together. I'll be posting the next two pages soon enough!

CTMH You and Me Kit

This was the You and Me kit that Close To My Heart had. It was a great kit to create and the proceeds went to a great cause! Do you remember all the flooding, tornados and storms across the United States? Well proceeds from this kit went to help out those in need!

I had fun creating this kit! Now all I have to do is add my photos!

Hope you like the outcome!

Close To My Heart Consultant

So I did it!

I signed up to be a consultant for Close To My Heart! I'm looking forward to really getting involved with this company! I love the products and I love the fact that they make scrapbooking easy for even a beginner! I remember how daunting it was for me when I first started out! I was always asking if I was doing it right ... LOL ... I have since learned that there is NO WRONG WAY to scrapbooking or card making!

Being a consultant will allow me to share my love of being creative with all my friends and family!

I'm in the process of setting up an on-going Workshop club :) Each month we will each choose a Workshop On The Go and have fun creating either the cards or the scrapbook layouts ... or each :) My first one is set up for July 24th! Timing just didn't allow it to be sooner unfortunately :(

But yeah ... I will post more often on here and really get this blog going with my creations! I plan to make this active in every sense of the word! So please keep your eyes open for new stuff :)

Multi Purpose Card

This card can be used for so many different occasions. I really love the Lovely As A Tree stamp set!

Thank You

Here's a Thank You card we made at the Stamp A Stack! I'm just trying to show them all the different techniques you can use to creat some really great effects!

Different Approach

Here is a different approach to the Build A Blossom stamp and punch set!

Second Stamp-A-Stack

So I've got my second stamp a stack coming up! We had so much fun with the first one that I decided to get my second one going right away!

This one is going to happen on February 19th and I took some feedback from everyone! We will be doing 18 cards in total! There will be 6 designs with 3 cards being made for each! This way they can still have fun creating from the designs!

I've been slow to get to the punch with the designs, but I do have 2 done! 4 more to go ... LOL ... this time I'm not setting any specific types, I'm going to let them go a bit nuts and decide to have birthday or thank you or what ever! This way, they have a little more creative control and I'm showing them that they are creative, even if they think that they aren't!

I'm so glad that I decided to do this! I'm having fun while they are having fun! I'm learning new things because I'm looking for new techniques and designs to show them! I'm also getting some great cards designed for my own personal collection!

So keep checking back to see more! I may not update every day, but I will update for anyone out there that is reading!

Birthday

This is a birthday card that I threw together for a friends birthday!

TFL

Thank You Card

I love this card! I started off by going for the technique where you stamp on dark paper and then colour it in with pencil crayons, but I loved the way the white looked on this, so I left it as is!
