Convention Cards

Ok, so I was getting scared that my cards were too plain for swapping at Convention ... LOL ... so I decided to try my hand at some fancier cards.  I've come up with these!

Now they are still a simple card but they look fancy to me!  I hope everyone likes these ones!  I've got to come up with at least 20 more cards ... 2 more designs ... LOL ... so keep watch!

I'm getting super excited!  I will be on the plane for Dallas in 11 days!

New Designs

So I was nervous about my cards that I was swapping at Convention because I started to see some that everyone else was swapping, and let me tell you ... mine so didn't stand up!  I really love the clean and simple look of cards, but I realized that not everyone does, so I'm blinging them up and creating some new ones!

I can't wait to post some pictures of the new ones!  I've got to get them finished here soon cause the time until Convention is closing fast!  I can't believe that in 13 days I will be in Dallas Texas!  I'm so super excited!

Slow and Steady

Hey guys ... so I haven't been doing much this last week ... My husband and I were involved in a car accident last Sunday and that has put me on the low end of doing things ...

My poor car is a write off and it is a sad fact because I loved that car!  Everyone keeps saying that if I loved the car I should just get the same one again ... but the accident was a rear-end hit and now I've decided that I want more room between me and the back of the car ...

I don't ever want to feel like I did on this day.  I felt helpless and scared and I've never felt like that in my life in a vehicle, and yes I've been in a couple car accidents.  My husband was taken to the hospital on a backboard because he had neck pain and I think that is part of what made me feel helpless and scared ... but all I know is that it was not a good feeling!

So now I'm looking at vehicles that are bigger!  I'm thinking SUV and I've fallen in love with a 2013 Mazda CX-5.  They are really nice SUV's.  We also really like the Ford Focus.  I know that isn't an SUV, but it is a bigger hatchback than what I was driving!

So yeah, just wanted to say that I'm not really doing much creating right now.  That and I'm gearing up for Close To My Heart's Convention in Dallas!

Underwear Affair

So today is the day!  This is the 3rd time I've participated in this and I love it!  If you don't know what the Underwear Affair is, let me tell you!

It is a 5k walk or a 10k run to raise awareness to cancers below the belt!  Hence the "Underwear" approach.  Participants get out on the course in their underwear ... literally!  I mean they get down to some really skimpy outfits ... LOL ... and walk 5k or run 10k!

It's all for a great cause!  This is the 3rd time doing the 5k, but I'm hoping to run some of it ... so we will see!  I'll post my results and some photo's of the event!

Wedding Album Layouts

So today I got to be creative!  Slowly but surly I will get my wedding album completed!  Today I pulled out all my Sonoma papers and my photos, grabbed my Magic book and off I went!

Today was time to put together pages all about the bride!  ME!!  I really love this layout combination!

Sorry, the second photo didn't crop so nicely ... One of these days I'll get better at it!  But yeah, in the midst of planning for a Christmas trade fair, I managed to put together these layouts!  It's getting closer to being completed!

33 days and 7 hours!

So the countdown is on!  I so can't wait!

CONVENTION!!!!!

Yup you read that right!  I'm going to Close To My Heart Convention in 33 days :)  I so can't wait to visit Dallas Texas!  This will be the first time I've really gone anywhere like this!  The first time that I've applied for a passport and the second time I'll have flown!

I feel like I'm a little kid at Christmas time ... LOL ... cause I'm so excited!  I can't wait to have 3 days to learn as much as I can and create with brand new products being released!  This is going to be so much fun!
