Creativity Time for Me

So I finally got some time to create this weekend!  It felt so good to actually make some progress on my wedding album!  I really love the Sonoma colours and they fit so well with my wedding colours!

Sorry for my crappy cropping and picture taking!  I will get better :)  I haven't done that in quite some time now!

These ones I actually completed some time ago ... I was just waiting to get a 5x7 picture printed.  I also had to decide what to put on the purple strip.  I cut the strips out with the AP Cartridge!

These are some of my favorite photos of my hubby and the best man!  Again I'm loving the AP Cartridge!

These last two I did quite some time ago as well.  I just am really bad at taking photo's and posting on the blog!

Either way ... I now have 10 full pages completed for my wedding album!  I'm hoping to get a few more completed next weekend because I've got friends coming over to just play!  Going to be a good time!

Adorable Bunny Card

So I saw this idea of a bunny coming through a hole in a card ... I so wish I could remember where and who so that I can give proper credit!  But this is what I did with that idea!

I changed the card from a basic card base to an egg shaped card base!  The feet help it stand up fine on it's own!  I gave him a cotton ball tail ... LOL ... and some button eyes!

Here is the back side of the front card flap!  See he is trying to jump out of the hole ... LOL ... this idea was too cute to pass up, especially for Easter!  And learning the different shapes on the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge ... I'm having a blast!

Spring Cards - AP Cartridge

Well, I finally had a chance to actually create some things!  I've got a card workshop on Saturday and here are a couple of the cards we will be making!

I'm just learning with the Cricut, so we are starting off pretty simple ... but man what an effect it can have!  I love that you can cut out these images and then add the layer image to make it look 3D!

I love the flowers that you can make with the cartridge!  They really give such a great look to any project you make!

So yeah, here are a few of my creations!  I thought it was about time that I finally get some of my own work on this blog!  I've been cramming all the deals at you ... LOL ... but I cram those at me too, so don't worry!

I promise that I will get more of my own artwork up here as well.  I'm going to schedule some time for me to just create!  I've got to finish my wedding album!  I've got a 2 page layout that is just about done, so once I get that done I will post pictures!
